TRANSPORT


Whether you are travelling to and from London from elsewhere in the UK, from mainland Europe or beyond, there are great airport, rail and coach connections to get you to the heart of the city with the minimum of fuss.

London Airports: London is served by five main airports, from the UK's main gateway at London Heathrow to London City Airport in the Docklands:

Rail connections:

Central London (Zone 1) is supported by eight main train stations and several other smaller stations, as well as many more within greater London.

International Rail:

There are frequent London Eurostar services from London St Pancras International to Paris and Brussels daily. Travel from Paris to Central London in just two hours 15 minutes, or from Brussels in one hour and 51 minutes. Travel at 300km/h (186mph) all the way from the Continent to London on the UK's first high-speed line.

Local London Transport:

The Transport For London (TFL) website comprehensively covers all modes of transport within London (including the tube, trains, buses, walking and cycling, boats, and even the new cable car).
