What is Student Switch Off?

Student Switch Off is a not-for-profit international campaign that works to raise awareness and encourage student action against climate change.

They run weekly, termly, and yearly competitions to encourage students to save energy and water. Make sure to follow them on social media to get involved in their weekly competitions and chat to one of your RAs to sign up. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to take part in our year-long, campus wide competition in partnership with SSO. Each hall will compete to conserve the most energy throughout the year and everyone in the winning hall will join us for free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to celebrate!

What is BRU-Q?

The BRU-Q Quiz show is an unique experience hosted by your very own Brunel RAs!

Each term, we will be putting you to the test in a quiz show like no other. The show will be streamed live on Facebook as your Senior RAs take you through a series of twenty general knowledge questions with a Brunelian twist!

Think you’ve got what it takes to be our BRU-Q Champions in term 1? Gather your flatmates in your kitchen on the evening of Thursday 26 September at 7pm and make sure that you have 2 portable electronic devices with an internet connection. We’ll be posting instructions on what to do next in the coming weeks.
